In December 2006

We hand selected one of our steers to participate in the

4-H Beef Program 

Our steer, "Ricky Bobby" was brought through the 4-H program by Alexxis Jones which involved  a lot of dedication to halter breaking, a feeding program, grooming and taming. 

Alexxis hard work paid off when in August 2007 Ricky Bobby took 1st place in his division at "The Heart Of The Ozarks Fair" in West Plains, Missouri. 

Alexxis and Ricky Bobby went on to win 2nd place in the overall showmanship competition.  We were all so proud of Alexxis and Ricky Bobby!
